Baleada

Gala Music Foundation and St. Mark Episcopal Church together with sponsors and vendors, present the 4th Annual Baleada Festival, in commemoration of the Independence of Central America, Belize, and Mexico. Sabores De Mi H (Honduras) on Saturday, September 16th at 5:30PM! There will be music, dancing, drinks, and food, as well as crafts, and a pumpkin patch. A baleada is a traditional Central American dish, believed to have originated on the northern coast of Honduras. It is composed of a flour tortilla, filled with a smear of mashed “refried” red beans, crema, and crumbled queso duro.
