The Topcats return to play for the annual “Zulu on the Bayou Festival” hosted by the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club on the shores of Bayou St. John deep in the heart of Mid City on Mother’s Day, May 13th! The festival runs from 11:00AM to 7:00PM and The Topcats play from 12:20 until 1:10. The fest includes the Zulu Ensemble, The Miller McCoy Boys Choir, Gina Brown, Rechelle Cook and Lisa Amos. The Royal Essence Band. DJ Jubilee, Captain Charles, the Big Six Brass Band and Roi Anthony. And you can't forget about that great New Orleans flavor with vendors like Scales Strawberry Lemonade, Cool Fruit Sensations , The frying station, off da hook creole catering, Chubbs backyard BBQ, Al Harris Jr. Catering and Miss Linda the yakamein lady and many many more. So I will see you there Sunday May 13th Mother's Day. Celebrate Mother's Day with Zulu on the Bayou and it's free, that right free.
