Swamp Pop Rock
The Topcats will play for Swamp Pop Rock, an open dance / party at the Diamondhead Country Club, in Diamondhead, MS on Saturday, September 4th! The doors and cash bar will open at 5:00, a dinner buffet will be served at 6:00, and The Topcats play at 7:30! Tickets are $50.00 per couple and reservations are required. The Topcats Play
"Ain't Dat Super Live"
The Topcats will play "Ain't Dat Super Live" in Armstrong Park on Sunday, September 5th at 11:30AM! "Ain’t Dat Super!" is the wildest play about football to ever hit the stage! Based Steven Scaffidi’s book of the same name, and staring John "Spud" McConnell, Becky Allen and Randy Cheramie, the play centers around two brothers who walk into a bar the day of the Super Bowl and claim that they are the reason the Saints got to the big game, and audience members become part of the story and actually turn out to be the fans in the stands in this interactive play that follows the history of the team from the beginning all the way through their incredible Super Bowl victory. Performances are scheduled for this Labor Day weekend, September 3rd, 4th, and 5th at the Mahalia Jackson Theater, with a huge tailgating event in Armstrong Park featuring great food, cold beer and live music before the play begins. The Topcats will play the tailgating party for Sunday's 2:00 performance from 11:30AM to 1:30PM! Don't miss this! the Treasure Chest Casino
The Topcats play the Treasure Chest Casino, in Kenner, LA, every Thursday night starting at 7:00! It has been a while since the band has played the Caribbean Show Room in the Treasure Chest Casino, but all that has changed. Come out on Thursday nights and party with The Topcats at the Treasure Chest! The band will not play on September 2nd and 9th due to New Orleans Saints game, and the band says "Who Dat!!!!" Map

The Topcats Play KOZFEST
On Sunday, September 12th, The Topcats and the Bag of Donuts will play KOZFEST, a music and food festival to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, happening on Sunday, September 12, at Zeringue Park (corner of Hickory and Wilson) in Harahan, LA! KOZFEST is sponsered by Koz's Restaurant and runs from 11:00AM to 5:00PM. The Topcats play 12:30 to 2:00 and the Bag of Donuts play 3:00 to 5:00! In addition to great music, KOZFEST will feature games and fun booths, including a rock climbing wall, an inflatable slide, face painting and a parade of prizes. There will also be a wide range of foods and drinks and a Po Boy eating contest, so come prepared to eat. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Come on out a support this great cause! Pat's Weekly Diary - August 29th, 2010
We returned to work on Thursday night at the Treasure Chest in Kenner playing once again to a fantastic crowd of people. We want to thank Robert Cox for sitting in on drums for Robert during the first set. Just a reminder – we will not be at the Treasure Chest the next two Thursdays because of the Saints schedule. However we will return on the 16th of September. Friday night we played at the Wherehouse Bar & Grill in Chalmette. It was our first time at the Wherehouse. We were way down in Chalmette, past Paris Rd. on St. Bernard Highway. There was a very nice crowd of people and after the Saints game it really got crowded. Saturday night was an open dance in Destrehan at the Jerusalem Shriners Hall on Ormond Blvd. A very nice time. We are off now and will be at Stepbrothers on Wednesday.
